Liberty Land
This place cracked me up. Kate and I have passed this place a few times on the freeway and every time we did she would ask if we could go. I finally gave in and made Dave come with us. All I can say is WOW! What this place consists of is run down carnival rides that could only operate twice then after the two rides they would have to wait for the equipment to cool down.
Believe it, that roller coaster was probably the scariest one I have ever been on. I really thought that thing was going to fly off the tracks.
All in all Kate had a fabulous time and I guess that is all that matters.
So Dave saw this post and thought it was a bit harsh so I took off the Scary Land title. Also Dave is asking that you go and support this place. Whatever you decide, just be prepared for the roller coaster.

I am glad you went because Meg keeps asking the same thing. I can't believe how big Sophie is getting.
Nic-- you crack me up! That is so funny! We drive pass that place every time we go down to Orem and Maddi says that excat same thing! Thanks for head up maybe I wont take her there! Looks like you guys had fun cute pics
That is so dang funny. You are very brave, things like that freak me out. Especially when they are so freakin old. You guys are all just so dang cute!
am I losing it or just blind? where is this place? & why can you see it from the freeway? does utah really need one more thing that screams W.T.?
oh but I do like that last action shot of you nic, I can feel the terror
oh janae, just wait till you see this place. it is in lehi right before you get to the lehi roller mills exit. it is a work of art. i will be shocked if they stay in business. who ever invested into that place must have been blind.
and yes, that last picture explains everything. i had to hold kate the entire time and when the thing came to an end i thought i was going to have whiplash and that kate's head was going to be ripped off. i was also thinking of the different ways that i could save my child. not a joke. dead serious.
i'm laughing at your and janaes comments. i have never seen that place either. darn nicole we could have taken the kids there when i was there. it would have been kind of funny because my kids would have cried on every single ride!
hahah. dave wants you to support it because it makes him sick to think about all the money that guy spent on it to open it and it sucks. hahahahaha
you are correct stacey. dave is just sick that someone is losing money over there. thank goodness it is not us.
We pass that place all the time too! I thought it was more "upscale", like Boondocks (ha ha), but I guess it's pretty carni huh? Maybe we won't go then. That's really funny!
that last picture made me laugh. Kate does look like she is having the time of her life! Nic, I read your comment on Jewels blog, you're not just a lame in law. Once you marry in you're family.
ha ha ha ha......I ust looked at the pictures again. Are you guys the only people there that day?
That's hilarious! the kids and I like to count how many
people are there each time we pass. I think 10 was our high! What were these people thinking??? What a cute family...
steph, what a good eye. there was only like two other families there. it was sad.
I can tell Dave is going to have a dilemma on his hands. Wanting the people to succeed so they don't lose all their money.....and yet not wanting to go again and waste his! What to do????
K, I soooo want to check this place out. Thomas makes fun of it every time we pass by. He says, "I give that place 6 months." We'll see. Loved the pics and comments, you crack me up.
