Family Fun

Kate is becoming a little ham, turkey and pepperoni. She has started to pose for pictures. The bottom middle look is 'Blue Steel.'

These two dress up and dance on Nana's ping-pong stage every week. That's the most play that ping-pong table has ever seen. Good thinking Nana.

Sophie Nicole Holland

Ya, we finally named her. Hope all you Hailey fans aren't disappointed. We just thought she looked more like a Sophie.

Sophie's first bath. Her big sister Kate was washing her feet.

Sophie's first adjustment. What a proud momma. Nic was ticked that I included her head in these photos.

Sophie hanging out with her cousin Niels. Niels is giving the Dr. Evil pinky in the last one. Sophie has got the gay arm going on.

Sophie being held by family. Look at her hands in the top picture. She was blessing the food.

I'm so cute!

Kate's Baby Sis

Here she is. She arrived at 9:22 a. m. on Sept 18th. She weighed 7lbs 10oz and was 18 inches long.

Here are the first pictures right after her birth. Nicole made it look easy. We got to the birth center at seven thirty and had her a 9:22. The midwife and nurse were seriously impressed at how well Nicole handled the laboring and birth. She was so tough. Even Nicole was shocked when she was ready to push, and the midwife said a baby would be here in few minutes. Nicole was ready to leave at one and we were home by about two. I didn't have an excuse to go back into work (Subway) for a few minutes. "It's not a race Nicole. You won. Is that what you want to hear."

I'm a family man now. Alway was a ladies man. Hopefully she doesn't get dad's lazy eye.

The girls, Nic's parents, and Becky Nic's midwife.

Baby sister weighed in 1lbs 3oz bigger than her older sister did. Sorry not too many pictures with eyes open.
Kate getting restless. She was so tired, but really cute with the baby. She was a little shocked at the beginning, and couldn't believe that a real baby came from mom's stomach. I couldn't believe it either and I've seen it happen once before.

So does she look like a Hailey or Sophie or something else? Kate says Hailey.

Hailey Rae Holland or Sophie Nicole Holland

"Mom, Dad, I'm ready to hit the town"

Kate was playing with this purse the other day. She set it down by our back door for a few minutes and then picked it up again and put it on our couch. She then came running into our room, yelling, "daddy, daddy a spider." A spider the size of a fifty cent piece (picture doesn't do justice, its legs are curled under cause it's dead now), had clung onto the purse she was playing with. We caught it in tupperware and sure enough the pest guys said it was a Hobo. We are lucky it didn't get her. Their poison eats your flesh away.

The Ultimate Dog Run

We got tired of letting out dogs in and out, so we built a dog run that goes up and outside from the basement. There was already a existing vent for the furnace, so we turned it into a doggie door. People discouraged me and said it wouldn't work and couldn't be done, but I followed the dream in my heart, and now no more sweeping up dog mess in the basement.

Bootiful Ballerina

You've really come a long way Kate.
All those lessons from your aunt Amy have really paid off. Look at that turnout. Padasha, padasha, pleea, gronjutaa.
